Meet Our Staff
From the moment you enter our dental office, you will be greeted by our front office staff Sonia Ortiz. She will make sure that our back office assistant, Nina Hernandez, is ready to seat you for your appointment on time with our hygienist, Jessica Lee, or with Dr. Quynci Nguyen. Our staff genuinely cares for our patients. We make sure your appointment is comfortable and meets all of your expectations. You are our top priority!
Quynci Nguyen, D.D.S.
Dr. Quynci Nguyen is a graduate of the University of California Irvine, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Ecology. Upon graduation, she decided to change her career path and selected dental healthcare as a profession after she spent a year doing volunteer work at a community dental clinic. She applied and was offered a scholarship to Marquette University School of Dentistry, a Jesuit university in Wisconsin, where she earned her Doctorate degree with honors. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Nguyen completed two years of post-graduate training in General Practice Residency at UCLA/Veteran Affairs Medical Center Sepulveda and served as Chief Resident during her second year at the VA.
Dr. Nguyen has practiced in Orange County for over 20 years. She is highly trained in all phases of dentistry. In addition to her excellent skills, you will find her to be a warm and compassionate person who is attentive to all her patient's needs.
Dr. Nguyen has been active in serving her community with involvement in Mary's Kitchen in Orange, The Seva Collective food pantries in Santa Ana, and the Sunday Supper at St. Paul's Church in Tustin for the past few years. When not working, she likes getting out early for a morning hike at Peter's Canyon. On weekends, she enjoys attending her daughters' lacrosse games or just relaxing and catching up with her favorite K-dramas.
JESSICA LEE, R.D.H.
Jessica's interest in dental health began after participating in international mission trips where she assisted dentists. Those experiences fueled her passion for wanting to help others and providing care for those in need. Thereafter, she gained experience as a front office coordinator at a dental office and pursued her career in Dental Hygiene.
Jessica holds an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Pasadena City College, with over 10 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She enjoys working with Dr. Quynci and her team of experienced dental professionals because they are confident, honest, and maintain a high standard of care.
The patient's oral health is her top priority. It is important to her that their visits are comfortable and informative. She has had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful patients while working at this office for the past few years and looks forward to many more.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking along the beach or hiking trails with her family, as well as traveling, painting, and sewing.
Sonia Caudillo-Ortiz, R.D.A.
Sonia Ortiz is a dedicated staff member who has been with Dr. Nguyen for over 15 years. She is the front office staff who greets and takes care of all our patients' needs. She is proficient with insurance, handles all phone calls and takes care of the office daily schedule. In addition, Sonia is a Registered Dental Assistant who is well trained in back office duties. When needed, she would step in and help take care of our patients. Her fluency in Spanish comes handy in translating information and explaining procedures to our patients. In her personal time, she is a devoted mother who dedicates her time in taking care of her family. She is deep in her faith and likes going to church with her family on the weekend.
Nina Hernandez, R.D.A.
Nina Hernandez is a hard worker who has been in the dental healthcare profession for over 18 years. She is a Registered Dental Assistant who takes care of all our back office responsibilities. She has a subtle way of making the patients feel comfortable and at ease. She is funny and likes to laugh. Nina is the office “jack of all trades” and the one person to fix things around the office. Nina is also a fluent Spanish speaker, a skill that is helpful when explaining procedures and connecting to our patients while working with them at chairside. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family and working on her cars. On the weekend, she spends her time at church and involves herself with church activities.
